Peter Næss Næss makes his debut as filmmaker in 1999 with the comedy Absolute Hangover. He also directs two of the three movies about Elling, the character created by Ingvar Ambjørnsen: Elling (2001), nominated to the Oscars, and Love Me Tomorrow (2005). He has also directed Just Bea (2003), Mozart and the Whale (USA, 2005), Leaps and Bounds (Sweden, 2007), and his most recent film, Gone with the Woman (2007), Norway’s offer to this year’s Oscars. Furthermore, Næss has worked in theater and variety as a playwright, director and actor.
